 Lately, I've been thinking about what and where my home is. Yes, I know where I'm coming from, who gave birth to me and raised me, where my family lives, and so on... But sometimes home doesn't mean place where you grew up. Home is where you feel you belong to. Home is when you get goosebumps and butterflies in your stomach every time coming back to it. Home is something you don't want to leave. Ever... 


 It's been seven years since I left my home in Serbia. Over this time not much changed there. Every time I go back, everything looks the same, but, at the same time, nothing is the same. People have changed. Once you leave, your family and friends continue to live their lives . They get used to you not being there. They change and you change. When you come back you need time to get used to them again. They need time to get used to you. Sometimes, they are not the same people as you remember them. Sometimes (almost always), you are not the same person as they remember you. It gets hard to continue where you stopped before you left. It gets weird. You try to adjust, but it just doesn't work.
 It is hard to be involved in somebody's life when you are not in there. 

 Serbia will always have a special place in my heart. I will always call it home, and I love going there. My family and friends who I love to death are from there. But, I don't feel that is my home any more. I don't feel I belong there any more. 

 It has been over six years since Darko and I started dating. Over this time, he become my home. The place I feel I belong to. We went through so much together. We built our relationship from the foundation. Now it is a little home. Our home. Where we both love being in. Where we both belong. It doesn't matter which part of the world we live in as long as we have our home with us.

I considered myself the traveler. Few days ago, I was thinking about all the countries I visited so I found online maps where you can check off all the countries you visited. Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

 After Tunisia in 2015, we moved to Saudi Arabia. Actually, Darko went straight to Arabia, and Nina and I went back to Serbia to get our visas for Arabia. It took us three months to get visas. I don't know how much you know about Saudi Arabia, but this is a very conservative country. There is no tourist visa, and you can only enter this country for work or if your spouse work there, and you are going to visit him/her. It is a very religious country, and it is known as the birthplace of Islam. Both, Meca and Medina are located in the Saudi Arabia. The entire country is run by Sharia law ( it is derived from the religious precepts, the Quran and the Hadith). The country is very rich, since they are very famous for oil producing. They are world's largest oil producer and exporter. The climate is not the best. At least, I didn't like it. It is too dry, too hot, and too much sand. Zlin Zoo

 Usually only Sundays are our days off, but this past week we had the entire weekend for family time. We always try to spend this time outside as much as we can, especially, if the weather is good. These past months the weather was really weird. I guess the most of the planet's population felt that way. We didn't have a real spring day until week or so ago. All of a sudden, on past Saturday we woke up, and the weather was really nice. We were discussing what should we do for the day. I remember getting a recommendation for visiting a Zlin Zoo. I did a little research and it really looked nice. But, it was more than nice. It was way above my expectations. I questioned writing a post about this zoo, but I think it deserves its place in here. We left home quite late, so we couldn't stay as long as we wanted, but we definitely had a great time!   Zlin Zoo is located on the eastern side of the country, somewhere between cities Brno and Ostrava.
