Welcome to Osaka

Image
I didn't write for a while, because we have been moving. Again. I know. And, we are still moving. We are currently staying in a hotel until our place gets clean so we can move in. We didn't change the country, and I am really glad about that. We moved to the bigger city Osaka. It is the third biggest city in Japan, and it is completely different than Isesaki. It was Friday night when it was officially that we are coming to Osaka. So, we had Saturday to pack everything and we had to leave on Sunday morning. For the first time ever I had no emotions about leaving. Usually I am sad, but not this time. Maybe because everything happened so fast, I didn't have time to think about anything. And, as soon as we got here in Osaka, I completely fell in love with this city.  I really want to write, but I have no inspiration today... I am just going to stop here, and post some pics of Osaka. Ueno Sky Bridge and more

We had a day off today (actually Darko had a day off, every day is a day off for me :)), so we decided to do some sightseeing. I have done some research over the weekend, and I picked the Ueno Sky Bridge. It's two hours away from our house and it looked pretty interesting. Ueno Sky Bridge extends over the natural landscape and it sits around 100 meters above it. I am not afraid of the heights, but I don't like seeing huge chasm under my feet. It was pretty cool view though. This is mostly a summer attraction so everything around the bridge was closed. We still were able to get on the bridge and take some cool pics.  We left the house around 10am, and our first stop was Starbucks. Of course. :) A good day cannot start without a good cup of coffee.  Caramel Machiato Iced is my all time favorite  We saw some pretty nice sights on the way there.  Our second stop was this beautiful Kanna-Ko lake. This lake was so pretty and so big. I was like a little kid, soaking up every

Home

Lately, I've been thinking about what and where my home is. Yes, I know where I'm coming from, who gave birth to me and raised me, where my family lives, and so on... But sometimes home doesn't mean place where you grew up. Home is where you feel you belong to. Home is when you get goosebumps and butterflies in your stomach every time coming back to it. Home is something you don't want to leave. Ever...   It's been seven years since I left my home in Serbia. Over this time not much changed there.  Every time I go back, everything looks the same, but, at the same time, nothing is the same . People have changed. Once you leave, your family and friends continue to live their lives . They get used to you not being there. They change and you change. When you come back you need time to get used to them again. They need time to get used to you. Sometimes, they are not the same people as you remember them. Sometimes (almost always), you are not the same person as they

The Beginning

Hi everybody! I want to wish you a Happy New Year, and I hope only good things happen to you this year! I've been thinking about writing a blog for a while . First reason is that my memory is awful. I can't remember to save my life. I move quite a lot, and it is sad not to remember how I felt or what I did while I was experiencing different places. Second reason is that I am such a bad friend. I do not keep in touch with friends. Writing this blog, all my friends from all around would be able to see what's happening with me/us and my/our life. I'm going to write in English and Serbian. Some days I just don't feel like speaking/writing in English so I will write in Serbian (hopefully this won't happen often :) ). Right now we are in Japan. Darko has a game away, and I got free time. A lot of free time. Japan is great so far! I love this country. It's feels like home. Actually, every country we lived in feels like home. I really hope we stay here for
